Austin v. Cooke - This is a case where I represented the Defendant in a Federal Arbitration Action in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The Plaintiff was seeking to set aside the arbitration award pursuant to 9 USC 1. The Court granted the Defendant's Motion to Dismiss. Austin v. Cook BriefMostion to DismissDismissal Order.

US v. Williams - This is an appeal on a suppression issue as to whether a police office alleged a sufficient amount of facts in a search warrant affidavit to allow a magistrate to find probable cause that illegal activity was currently ongoing. The United States District Court Judge Robert Doumar has denied our motion and we are currently appealing this decision to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. Commonwealth v. Jeffrey Winston - Nolle Prosequi OrderMotion and Memorandum of Law to Dismiss Indictments.  This case was an Attempted Capital Murder, Attempted Rape, Sodomy, Abduction and Malicious Wounding case in Greensville County Virginia. The Commonwealth dismissed the charges after the defense objected to speedy trial of the Defendant and the Victim became a fugitive from justice. The defendant served almost 1 full year without bond until the Commonwealth was forced to dismiss the charges on March 8, 2007.

OSB Manufacturing, Inc. v. William E.K. Hathaway, II - In this case the Plaintiff sued the Chapter 7 Debtor in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for Civil Embezzlement and conversion of the Plaintiff's property while the Defendant was an employee of the Plaintiff. The Bankruptcy Court published a 53 page opinion and entered judgment to the Plaintiff in the amount of $43,008.86.

Samuel Contreras Adams Brief - Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals - This case is an appeal from the District Court's denial of the defendant's motion for judgment acquittal.

Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals Reversal of Conviction - 4th Circuit Reversal of Conviction by published opinion.

Bristol Brief - Petition to the Virginia Court of Appeals - The Appellant was convicted in the Portsmouth Circuit Court for Maiming Another While Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under the Influence. The conviction is appealed based on the preserved issue on the validity of an arrest which triggered the implied consent statute of the Code of Virginia to give a blood sample after the accident in this matter.

IPO Holding Company, Inc. - Petition to the Virginia Circuit Court of Fauquir County - This case is request for a dismissal of charges.
